Global Enplas group celebrates 40 years of operation in the U.S.

Enplas opened its first production site in the U.S. to meet the demand for locally sourced video and audio cassette components.
In 2020, the Enplas Corporation celebrated 40 years of conducting business in the U.S.
The Enplas Corporation is a custom injection molding solutions company based in Japan that today operates in 14 countries.
Enplas (U.S.A.) was the Enplas Corporation’s first production site in the U.S. It was founded in 1980 in Marietta, Ga. Initially, Enplas (U.S.A.) was established to meet the demand for locally sourced video and audio cassette components such as reels and hubs. As demand for plastic cassette components waned in the 1990s, the company applied its core manufacturing technologies to accurately injection mold round shapes to develop precision plastic gears to be used in sensitive applications such as printers and automotive. As the company evolved, it further developed its plastic gear technologies to adapt to the new ways in which users were interacting with their vehicles, such as electric parking brakes, electric seatbelts, power lift gates, and more—all applications that require high levels of strength and quietness.
Meanwhile, Enplas expanded into other industries and regions of the U.S. It now serves customers in industries as diverse as medical, automotive, semiconductor sockets, optics, and consumer products.
Enplas Life Tech is Enplas Corporation’s U.S.-based company providing medical molding services for both development and mass production, including COVID-19 diagnostics and cutting-edge microfluidic devices. The company offers customers dedicated, transparent customer service and engineering expertise to provide high-quality products and services. We are proud that our customers trust Enplas Life Tech as their source for medical molding services.
