Enplas Life Tech to present, exhibit at the Lab-on-a-Chip & Microfluidics Congress 2019

Presentation titled “Challenges and Solutions for Fluid Sealing Interfaces in Diagnostics Devices”

ASHEVILLE, N.C.—Enplas Life Tech (ELT), a single-source manufacturer based here that mass produces and prototypes complex medical-grade plastic components for the life sciences, will exhibit and present at the Lab-on-a-Chip & Microfluidics World Congress San Diego on October 7-9.

The Lab-on-a-Chip & Microfluidics World Congress San Diego brings together researchers and industry participants from academia and industry to discuss the latest innovations and developments in the lab-on-a-chip and microfluidics fields.

On October 9 at 9:30 AM, Enplas Life Tech Sales Manager, Scot MacGillivray, will present ELT’s experience solving complex challenges with fluid sealing interfaces in diagnostic devices. His presentation will include design best practices for multi-functional devices, chip-to-world interfaces and robust fluid sealing for inlet and outlet ports in cartridge-type diagnostic devices.

“We’re very excited to participate in the Lab-on-a-Chip & Microfluidics Congress 2019 to discuss our engineering and manufacturing experience with potential partners and customers,” said Mr. MacGillivray. “We hope companies use our expertise to help solve fluid sealing issues common in diagnostic device design.”

Enplas Life Tech representatives will be available at booth #11 for inquiries about its engineering and manufacturing services and to answer questions about Mr. MacGillivray’s presentation.
